‘My vital stats: I’m Mum to Ivy and Dot, I’ve been wifey for 8 years to Rog, I’m 5ft, 12ft on my ladders!’
Fleur De Lace started up four years ago by Alice, prior to working within the wedding industry Alice worked in a television art department. Working in numerous roles from Art Director to Prop Buyer/Maker, Alice’s love for design grew and her collection of bizarre props followed. Alice started creating weird and wonderful things from string, paper or whatever was to hand and from there the wedding world seemed like the appropriate move forward and hey presto, Fleur de Lace was born!
When I asked Alice what here favourite piece for a bohemian wedding was she told that her signage works well with so many wedding styles and we couldn’t agree more the use of different fonts and colourings from Alice are just spectacular.
‘My signage, it’s so raw looking. Signage can really depict a wedding style, be it clean and pure, wild and colourful or ‘kick your shoes off and run through a meadow.’
A large percentage of Fleur de Lace weddings are in the open and under canvas, this gives Alice the freedom to work with a blank page.
‘I love working with our couples to think of all the space, how we can use it and get the style displayed throughout’
Why are you excited about attending Bohemian Dreams?
“It’s the perfect platform to reach like-minded brides. I think outside the box, in fact I sometimes think I’m on a different plant all together. I’m looking forward to meeting couples who can relate to me and who can be inspired by Fleur de Lace. “I’m an artist at heart.”– Alice @ Fleur De Lace
